Spaceholder Roles
TWO WAYS TO CARE FOR THE VILLAGE

Choose your role

Attendees don't need to be fixed. We offer presence, support and safety, complementing our facilitators and team.

Spaceholder

Two shifts
Offer free, trauma-informed support to roses in our wellness tent and on roaming shifts.

  • Training or certification in psychology, coaching or a spiritual field

  • One-to-one experience

  • Trauma-informed training

  • ​One wellness tent shift and one roaming shift 

  • Mandatory 1-hour orientation Thursday evening

First Aid

One 24 Hour Shift (On Call) 
Keep the village safe and cared for throughout the weekend.

  • Current first aid certification

  • Calm and clear in an emergency

  • No medication administration

  • First Aid Kit provided

  • Mandatory 1-hour orientation Thursday evening

Every wellness volunteer receives

  • Full festival admission (a $200 refundable deposit must be made to hold your spot)

  • One free meal per shift​

  • ​Meet potential clients while sharing your gift

  • Spaceholders: The opportunity to participate in the Comm-Unity Spaceholding Circle happening at the festival

Only two shifts are required from spaceholders. First aid shifts are 24 hours each.

BEFORE YOU APPLY

Good to Know

Offering spaceholding services at Wild Roses is not offering therapy or counselling. A Space Holders role is to ensure that attendees feel genuinely held and supported throughout their journey during our time on the land. 

Positions are first come, first serve and we will only be in contact with selected applicants. 

Your $200 deposit is refunded once your hours are complete. If you've served two or more years in a row, you're welcomed back without a deposit.Deposits are not refunded for cancellations within 30 days of the festival or for no-shows.

Our First Aid team generally consists of nurses, or individuals with First Aid Training. We hope to bridge the gap and create a seamless triage effect between our Space Holders and First Aid team for emotional and physical support.
