What if I already purchased a festival ticket?

If you have already purchased a ticket, let the Director know and it will be refunded in full after the event.

Do I need previous sound or audio experience to volunteer?

Not at all! No previous sound or technical experience is required. Our Sound Team will provide training and guidance to help you feel confident in your role. All we ask is that you bring a willingness to learn, a collaborative spirit, and enthusiasm for supporting the magic behind the scenes at Wild Roses Festival.

What does training for the Sound Team involve?

We hold a hands-on Sound Team training session on Thursday, the day before the festival begins. You'll learn the basics of our sound equipment, your responsibilities, and how to support smooth transitions throughout the weekend. Attendance is mandatory for all Sound Team volunteers, regardless of previous experience, to ensure everyone feels confident and prepared for their role.

14 hours

Two 7-hour shifts over the festival weekend.

Help with sound set up pre-festival, or offer sound support during the festival
Mandatory training on Thursday evening
$200 refundable deposit

Good to Know

Your $200 deposit is refunded once your hours are complete. If you've volunteered two or more years in a row, you're welcomed back without a deposit.

Once accepted, you'll have 72 hours to place your deposit before we offer the spot to our waitlist.

Deposits are not refunded for cancellations within 30 days of the festival or for no-shows.

Positions are first come, first served, and we reach out to selected applicants only.

Once accepted, our Sound Crew Director will follow up by email with a schedule of dates, as well as a secure link to put forward your $200 deposit. You will have 72 hours to put down a deposit to secure your position before we move onto our waitlist. Volunteers who have volunteered 2+ years in a row will be automatically grand mothered in without a deposit. No refunds will be given in the case of cancellation 30 days before the event or no show.
