At Wild Roses Festival, our scholarship program is rooted in equity, accessibility, and the belief that every woman deserves opportunities for connection, belonging, and community. Rather than awarding scholarships solely on the basis of identity, we thoughtfully review each application with consideration for three guiding principles:1. Lived Experience & RepresentationWe prioritize creating space for women from communities that have historically experienced marginalization or exclusion. We recognize that identities are intersectional and that each woman's lived experience is unique.2. Financial Need & Barriers to AccessWe consider the financial, personal, and systemic barriers that may make attending Wild Roses difficult or inaccessible, including the costs of admission, travel, childcare, and other circumstances.3. Community Connection & ImpactWe invite applicants to share what attending Wild Roses would mean to them, whether that is an opportunity for rest, healing, celebration, connection, or bringing inspiration and knowledge back to their communities.Our scholarship selection process is guided by compassion, fairness, and intentionality. We do not expect applicants to prove their hardship or disclose deeply personal experiences to be considered. Our intention is simple: to reduce barriers, honour diverse lived experiences, and make space for women who might not otherwise have the opportunity to gather with us.

We believe in approaching financial need with dignity and trust. Applicants are not expected to share traumatic experiences or deeply personal financial details to demonstrate their worthiness of support. We ask that you answer our application questions honestly so we can understand how a scholarship might make attendance possible for you.

Yes! Previous attendance does not automatically disqualify you from applying. However, we may prioritize applicants who have not previously had the opportunity to experience the festival.

If you're unable to attend, we kindly ask that you notify our team as soon as possible so we may offer the opportunity to another woman in our community. Scholarship tickets are non-transferable and cannot be resold.
