Wild Roses thoughtfully curates our Marketplace to bring together a diverse and complementary collection of women-owned businesses, makers, artisans, and brands that reflect the spirit and values of our festival.Each application is considered with attention to the quality and uniqueness of the products or services offered, alignment with our community values, and how the business complements the overall Marketplace experience.We also consider the balance of product categories, seeking to create a Marketplace that offers variety while avoiding excessive overlap between vendors selling similar products.We welcome both established and emerging businesses and value the opportunity to introduce our community to new makers, meaningful offerings, and women doing beautiful work.Because Marketplace spaces are limited, not every application can be accepted. A declined application is not necessarily a reflection of the quality or value of a business, but may simply come down to available space, category balance, or the needs of that year's Marketplace.We deeply appreciate the time and care that goes into every application and encourage businesses to apply again in future years as our Marketplace continues to evolve.

Approvals will be sent out on or before January 15, 2027.

Upon acceptance, you will be sent an invoice and contract. 50% of the vendor invoice is due January 31, with the full payment due on February 15. Please note, that if we do not receive the 50% deposit by January 31, we will be moving onto our waitlist and your contract/attendance will be void.

We honour traditions by honouring the people, histories, and communities who carry them.Wild Roses is a gathering where women share many forms of knowledge, including herbalism, movement, spirituality, ancestral practices, ceremony, art, and healing traditions. We recognize that many of these practices carry deep cultural significance, and that some have histories of suppression, appropriation, and commercialization.Our commitment to cultural stewardship is rooted in two intentions: to protect the integrity of cultural traditions and to create meaningful opportunities for the communities whose knowledge and practices have sustained them. When curating culturally rooted offerings, we intentionally prioritize practitioners from communities of origin, while recognizing that knowledge can also be shared respectfully across cultures through meaningful relationships, mentorship, and appropriate permission.We ask vendors and facilitators to be transparent about the origins of their practices, their training and teachers, their cultural relationships, and any relevant protocols or permissions. We also consider how offerings are represented, how materials are sourced, and whether the communities whose knowledge informs the work are acknowledged and supported.Our intention is not to police cultural identity or discourage respectful cultural exchange. It is to ensure that the traditions shared at Wild Roses are approached with integrity, care, and reciprocity.Applications are considered individually, and Wild Roses reserves the right to request further information or decline offerings that do not align with these principles.

Set up: Vendors are permitted to enter the festival grounds as early as Thursday, July 8th at 2pm, with the gates closing at 10pm. All vendors must have their booth set up on Thursday, ready to sell when the Marketplace opens at 10am on Friday, July 9th. We encourage our Vendors to come early, set up their booth, as well as familiarize themselves with the festival grounds.Tear down: Vendors are permitted to begin tear down at 2pm on Sunday July 11th.

You are welcome to purchase a ticket before hearing back, and if you're approved, we will refund your ticket.

We are expecting 1000 women for the 2027 year! The Marketplace is located in the outdoor 'hub' of the festival grounds where you will find 40 vendors all under twinkly lights while being serenaded by live music and folks shopping, mingling, and enjoying all that the village has to offer.

No, we encourage our vendors to take part in the festivities when the marketplace is closed! We also welcome vendors to stay open longer, if they choose to.

Yes, we recommend you have the proper insurance for your business and offerings. We recommend our vendors use DUUO or PAL.

In Market Row, you will have a 10x10 space for your own pop up tent. In the Hangar, you will have an 8x8 space.

No generators are allowed, sorry!

Yes, accommodation upgrades are not included in your vendor package.

The Wild Roses Festival runs- rain, shine, or smoke. While July in Alberta is usually warm and sunny, we recommend coming prepared for all weather.

Wild Roses Festival does not offer any refunds on vendor booths and is non-transferable. In the event that the Wild Roses Festival is cancelled, you will be issued a credit to participate on the future date. Please note, if you are no longer able to attend the festival and fulfill your position in the Marketplace, your festival ticket will also be cancelled and void.

Yes, we would love for you to apply for our Partnership Program. Our Partnership Program puts your product into influential hands, and you get one free ticket ($399 value) to join the event as a VIP! We also offer festival ticket discounts to companies who make a donation to our Comm-Unity Silent Auction. More details will become available when applications open on February 1st!

Wild Roses Festival welcomes babies 2 years and younger to join the festival. All other participants must be of legal age (18+).

Yes. We welcome men to assist with RV set up on Thursday from 4-10pm, and Sunday after closing ceremony only. Please bring your female assistant (if you are bringing one) with you to set up your booth as men are not permitted in the main festival grounds.
