The Wild Roses Festival is built on community and collective vision. We are deeply grateful to everyone who applies to be part of our team and helps bring this magical weekend to life.

Our event volunteers are lovingly referred to as “Volunstars” — a reflection of the care, dedication, and spirit each person brings to the gathering. Together, we form a micro-community that supports and uplifts one another while working behind the scenes from event set up, to execution and take down, to create a beautiful, seamless experience for everyone who attends.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Volunteer positions on our team are offered in exchange for 14 hours (2 seven hour shifts) for all volunteer benefits described below. 

Here is a bit more about each position available for volunteers:

Festival + Decor Set Up Crew 

(Wednesday & Thursday Shift): POSITIONS FULL

Taking place 2 days before the festival begins, you will help our team behind the scenes to make the Wild Rose Village come to life! This is a physically demanding position. You must be detail orientated, be able to work in any weather, and are able to lift 50lbs. You are welcome to stay over and camp with us on both nights!

Festival Check In Crew & Support 

 (Thursday & Friday Shift): POSITIONS FULL

These are exciting days as we welcome hundreds of women onto the land for check in! You are also the first faces that attendees see as they enter. We are looking for high energy, kind, inclusive humans to help support us in our check in process and help everyone get acclimated and settled into the land. The ideal candidate for this role has already attended WRF in the past. In this position, you will also be lending a helping hand keeping the festival grounds tidy and looking beautiful.

Festival Support (Friday & Saturday Shift): POSITIONS FULL

Help us keep the event running smooth! These shifts will involve some check in for last minute guests, as well as working the information booth, and keeping the festival grounds sparkling and tidy. 

Festival Support (Saturday & Sunday Shift): ONE SPOT LEFT

Help us keep the event running smooth! These shifts will involve some check in for last minute guests, as well as working the information booth, and keeping the festival grounds sparkling and tidy. 

Festival Support + Take Down Crew (Sunday & Monday Shift): POSITIONS FULL

Help us wrap things up and close the container of magic. In this position,  you will be required to work the information booth, as well as help us with take down on Sunday after closing ceremony, as well as Monday. Our take down positions are physically demanding, so be prepared to move your body, work in any weather, and be able to lift 50lbs. You are welcome to stay over and camp with us overnight on Sunday! ​

In addition to these hours, we will also be hosting a one-hour online orientation meeting via zoom pre-event as well as a crew lunch on Thursday, July 9 that we ask all confirmed volunteers to attend. (Date TBA).

APPLY TO BE ON OUR TEAM!

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:  

We are thrilled to be nearly 50% full for all positions for the 2026 year. Positions are first come, first serve and we will only be in contact with selected applicants. Applications close March 31, 2026 or when all positions have been filled.

 

Once accepted, our Volunteer Director will follow up by email with a schedule of dates, as well as a secure link to put forward your $200 deposit. ​You will have 72 hours to put down a deposit to secure your spot before we move onto our waitlist. If you have already purchased a ticket, let the Director know and it will be refunded after the event. Volunteers who have volunteered 2+ years in a row will be automatically grand mothered in without a deposit. No refunds will be given in the case of cancellation 30 days before the event or no show.
