HELP US                   THE MAGIC.

At the heart of the Wild Roses Festival lies a unique and transformative journey. We're on a mission to encapsulate the essence and energy of the festival, going beyond mere visuals to evoke the full experience.

We're assembling a select team of media-savvy women to join us in this endeavor, handling photography, videography, and social media tasks with heart and soul.

What we're looking for

  1. Photographers: We are looking for photographers who are comfortable with photojournalism to help us document the festival without interruption. Photo Applicants must own their own camera ideally with a 2 card slot system. No editing or culling will be needed as that will be handled by our on site Editors. 
     

  2. Pro Videographers: We are looking for videographers to capture high quality footage in vertical orientation for our short format video needs. Video Applicants must own their own camera with a 2 card slot system and ability to film in high frame rates. No editing or culling will be needed as that will be handled by our on site Editors. 
     

  3. Mobile Videographer: This new media team position is to assist our social media crew by filming on a mobile device. Mobile Applicant must have a phone they can use that is 2 years old or less as well as a mobile video portfolio they can share such as an instagram account.
     

  4. Media Roseling (Student Intern): At Wild Roses Festival, our Student Intern position offers an incredible chance for budding media talents to flourish. Dive into a supportive environment where you'll learn the ins and outs of media coordination, videography, and photography, all while being part of a vibrant community dedicated to growth and empowerment. There will only be one student position. Applicant must own their own camera.

We are seeking digital storytellers. Availability must be Friday, Saturday and Sunday for shifts on each day. 

 

Volunteer positions on our team are offered in exchange for 4 hours per day (shifts determined by media heads), for a total of 12 hours, during festival hours (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) for admission and participation in the festival. 
 

Due to the vulnerable nature of the Festival, rules and regulations as a Media Team Volunteer will include sensitivity to the images, video and content that is created.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: Once accepted (we will send you an acceptance letter via email), you will need to confirm your placement as a WR Media Volunteer by paying a $100 deposit. If you have already purchased a ticket, it will be refunded after the event. Media Volunteers who have volunteered 2+ years in a row will be automatically grand mothered in without a deposit. No refunds will be given in the case of cancellation 30 days before the event or no show.
