Karling Dallyn

Karling Dallyn is a yoga teacher, movement guide, and community builder passionate about helping people slow down, soften their nervous systems, and reconnect with themselves.

Her classes focus on opening up the body through fluid, gentle movement and coming back home to the heart.

Her more recent work is rooted in Yoga Nidrā, also known as Non-Sleep Deep Rest (NSDR) or yogic sleep—a guided practice shown to calm the nervous system, improve resilience to stress, and restore energy. By pairing this deeply restorative practice with gentle movement, breath awareness, sound healing, and extended rest, Karling creates spaces where students can fully let go, spend high-quality time with themselves, and access profound states of relaxation and renewal.

Karling is also the founder of YEG Wellness, a community-driven platform in Edmonton that connects people with local wellness experiences and facilitators. After years of teaching yoga and leading retreats, she recognized how many beautiful, supportive offerings existed quietly within the community. YEG Wellness was born from her desire to make these experiences more accessible while supporting the people who create them.

Afternoon Recharge – Restorative Yoga + Yoga Nidra (Non Sleep Deep Rest)

Instead of heading back to your tent for a nap or trying to push through the day, come settle into this dreamy recharge session designed to support deep rest and allow time to process what’s coming up in other sessions.

We’ll begin with gentle, fluid yoga movements to softly open the body, release stored tension, and prepare the nervous system for rest. From there, you’ll be guided into Yoga Nidra—also known as Non-Sleep Deep Rest (NSDR) or Yogic Sleep—a lying-down meditation shown to provide the restorative benefits of up to 2–3 hours of deep sleep in just 20–30 minutes.

Take a break from socializing and reconnect inward. Leave feeling grounded, replenished, and more present for whatever the rest of your day holds. PS: this is advanced napping, and it’s perfectly okay if you fall asleep.
