Chelsea Penman

Wild Roses Cafe

Hey--It's Chelsea, a proud, longtime WRF team member--now proudly acting in the capacity of Wildroses Cafe Manager. For years, attendees have approached me, saying, "You work here, right?" And yes, I proudly do.

When I am not doing WRF things, you'll find me hanging with my beloved golden retriever/bestie/son, Ziggy, with my amazing family, cherished friends (many of whom are working alongside me on this team), outside walking in nature, or in one of my many roles as a Provisional Psychologist working in private practice in Old Strathcona or Ellerslie, or in the beautiful indigenous communities of Atikameg or Maskwacis.

Also--you will see me making the stunnin' jewels of FreeSoulJewelCo--a favourite of gemstone jewelry lovers and WRF attendees since year one (my gratitude reaches the stars for y'all, Roses).

I am a huge fan of saying I love you way too much, smiling big, crying lots and whenever, hugging everyone I meet, and living with my heart on my sleeve. See me at the fest for a free hug, for sure!

What can I say about WRF? I am so honoured and filled with warmth when I think of the connections I have made with so many elite-level, joy-bringing, heart-forward women at the festival. I am beyond proud and honoured to be a part of something which brings women together to connect, heal, grow, learn, inspire, and truly be a part of something bigger, with a strong foundation of non-competition, non-judgment, empowerment, kindness, and community.

Since year one, I have felt the magic of this gathering, and it only gets better as the years go on.

I am stoked to meet all you new Roses, reconnect with returners and OGs, and have you join us on the beautiful land of Aspen Country Hills.

Short story long, I love ya!
