Lisa Graham
I am a maker, musician, sound practitioner, and educator devoted to helping women reconnect with ritual, rest, and the wisdom of the natural world. For over a decade, I have worked with beeswax, crafting candles and other beeswax-based offerings that honor cycles of light, intention, and renewal.
My work bridges artistry, science, and personal exploration, weaving hands-on making with meditation and sound. Alongside my craft, I bring nearly two decades of experience as a musician and teacher, and I currently guide yoga and sound experiences rooted in breath, vibration, and embodied presence.
I am the founder of YYC Beeswax, The Abelo Collection, and Harmonic Spirit Studio, and the author of The Art of Beeswax Candle Making. Through my offerings, I invite women to slow down, create with their hands, listen deeply, and remember what it feels like to be held by community, nature, and sound.
The Light Within: Intentional Beeswax Candle Making
In this 60-minute hands-on workshop, participants are invited to slow down, create, and reconnect with the quiet power of intention through beeswax.
We begin with a short guided meditation to ground the body and settle the mind. Participants will then learn about bee and beeswax while hand-rolling their own beeswax candle.
We close with a candle-lit trataka meditation, which is a gentle gazing practice that supports focus, clarity, and inner stillness.
Each attendee leaves with a handmade beeswax candle and simple, accessible practices they can return to at home for grounding, reflection, and self-connection.
This workshop is suitable for all experience levels and is offered as a soft, embodied invitation into ritual, creativity, and sisterhood.
