Sarah Farrell

Yoga has been one of the most healing and transformative forces in my life. After being hit by a car in a crosswalk, my practice became a way to rebuild trust in my body, regulate my nervous system, and find my way home to myself again. Yoga continues to meet me through every season of life by helping me navigate the ebbs and flows with steadiness, compassion, and resilience. I’m deeply passionate about sharing these ancient tools and techniques, woven together with modern movement practices that keep the body strong, open, and supported, and the mind clear and grounded. Holding space for women is at the heart of my work by creating environments where we feel safe to soften, to heal, and to remember our own inner wisdom. It’s an honour to support others in reconnecting to themselves, their bodies, and each other.

The Arrival

Join me for the first class of the festival as we begin the journey inwards through intention setting, yoga, and meditation. This class offers space to set everything else down and arrive fully in your body.

The practice opens with a moment to set your intention for the festival as you reconnect to the source that inspired you to be here because truly you've already done the hardest part which is getting here. Together, we’ll name what you’re ready to receive, release, or grow, and plant that seed within yourself and into the land that’s holding us. This intention becomes your anchor, a reminder of why you chose yourself this weekend.

The slow and steady rhythm of this practice offers a nourishing balance: enough movement to awaken and energize the body, and enough stillness to soften and settle. You’re invited to move as much or as little as you need, honoring your own pace and listening closely to what your body asks for.

With moments of flow and pause, we gently transition from doing into receiving. This practice is about tending to the body as the container for healing: strengthening it, softening it, and creating the stability needed for change to take place. As the body feels supported, the mind naturally grounds, making space for clarity, presence, and trust in yourself.

Here, you’re invited to let your guard down. To feel held by the earth beneath you and the community around you. To allow yourself to be supported as you open to the unfolding of the weekend ahead.

This is your preparation.

Your soft opening to let the healing in.

Roses, this is your time to bloom.
