NICTURNA

If there is one thing I believe I am, it is a woman who loves to illuminate others’ stories. I am passionate about the now, the feeling right here in this moment. I want to capture what it feels like to be here now.

I find that when you take familiar comforts and distractions away from people, women in particular, they begin to ground and truly arrive in the moment. This is something I first noticed when taking people into the dark for photoshoots. Then for video shoots. Now with students and groups.

I am deeply passionate about sitting under night skies in nature. This is where I come alive. I have always been part night owl. Now, I am simply trying to convince others to come along with me.

There is a magic that happens at night. We turn into kids. We become playful, curious, and thankful. Maybe going out into the dark at night is kind of scary for us as women. But that is exactly what makes it so empowering.

Held by the Night

Come wind down after a full Friday of arrival, connection, and energy.

This nighttime experience is an invitation to soften, slow down, and arrive fully
in the moment. Attendees will be invited to lay down on their yoga mats with
blankets and pillows, creating a space of comfort, safety, and ease under the
trees.

Through intimate, reflective storytelling, I will guide participants into
presence, weaving personal stories, shared experiences, and moments of
quiet that help the body and mind settle naturally.

Rather than a traditional lecture or meditation, this is a story led, immersive
experience designed to help you reconnect with yourself, the night, and the
collective energy of the group.

Together, we will share a collective pause, including a moment of looking up at
the night sky, allowing distractions to fall away and curiosity to return.
This experience is held rain or shine. Whether under clear skies, drifting
clouds, cool air, wind, or gentle rain, we are invited to meet nature as she is
and find grounding in every condition.

Participants will leave feeling calm, connected, inspired, and deeply
supported as they move into the rest of the festival weekend.
