ANGIE IS A TRAUMA-INFORMED YOGA, BREATH AND SOMATIC FACILITATOR WITH A PASSION FOR BRINGING HEARTS TOGETHER.
I’m a Trauma-informed Yoga, Breath and Somatic facilitator from Edmonton, AB. Shortly after leaving my job as a cruise ship dancer in 2008, I was introduced to yoga and fell in love with the practice. I’ve been on a self discovery journey since 2016 but it wasn’t until I experienced birth trauma with my son Hank in 2022 that I felt called into deep nervous system healing.
In working through my own trauma via intensive group and individual clinical therapy, personal research, as well as investing in my own restorative yoga practice, I have developed a foundation of compassion and empathy for the complexity of everyones individual human experience. With an understanding of, and passion for, the connection between mind, body and emotions, I believe sharing this knowledge with as many humans as possible will help empower individuals on their unique journey and allow them to show up authentically and fully present in their lives.
