Jackie Williamson is a
500YTT, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Certified Meditation Teacher.

"Surrender to the flow of life and trust that all you are searching for is already within you." This has been my guiding principle as I learned to let go and embrace transformation, reprogramming the limitations of the mind through stillness.

My journey began in 2015 when I became a dedicated yoga practitioner but soon fell into old habits of overdoing it, exhausting myself in the process. I had no idea what balance was or how to truly attain it. My life was a constant whirlwind of endless schedules and 'to-do' lists in search of structure. Sound familiar?

In January 2020, I felt a strong calling to deepen my practice and committed to my first yoga teacher training. This experience opened my heart to the healing, grounding, and nourishing aspects of yoga. Through the exploration of yogic philosophy, breath work, meditation, and mantra, I finally discovered the balance I had been seeking.

I am passionate about sharing a holistic and balanced practice, incorporating restorative and meditative elements. My goal is to guide others toward experiencing oneness and well-being by imparting timeless yoga wisdom and techniques that seamlessly integrate into modern life.

I completed my initial 200 YTT (Yoga Teacher Training) in Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga. During my studies, I was introduced to Akhanda Yoga, a style that resonated deeply with me. After my first class, I was hooked. I quickly enrolled in a 300 YTT through Prana Yoga Studios to deepen my understanding of this unique approach. This journey led me to Anand Prakash Yoga Ashram in Rishikesh, India, where I had the privilege of learning under Yogrishi Vishvketu, the founder of the Akhanda Yoga Institute in a fully immersive 2 month deep dive. I returned home with a profound understanding and a willingness to surrender, feeling a deep connection to India that I know will draw me back again and again.

Throughout the evolution of my practice, I fell in love with the heart-opening and introspective nature of meditation. Embracing this calling has become my greatest joy. I recognize the profound need for connection with our highest, intuitive selves, and I see how many of us inadvertently relinquish our sovereignty. We all possess the potential to transcend our perceived limitations and reclaim our power.

I am excited to share this transformative practice with you. Learning and practicing meditation does not have to be so hard and we will find this out together.

Experience the deeply restorative practice of Yoga Nidra, or "yogic sleep." During this guided meditation, you will be led into a state of profound relaxation, where you can effortlessly access the subconscious mind. This practice facilitates healing, rejuvenation, and a deeper connection to your inner self.

Conclude the class with a brief period of integration, allowing you to reflect on your experience and share insights if you choose. This space encourages community and connection, fostering a sense of belonging.
