Emily Mattingsley

Meet Emily, a passionate guide dedicated to empowering women and cyclical beings with body literacy. After the confusion of a religious purity-culture upbringing, Emily embarked on a self-empowerment journey that reconnected her with the sacred wisdom of her womb. She has spent over 10 years studying the science of reproductive health and somatics of sensuality.

Emily combines her background as a former school teacher, Yoga instructor and certified Fertility Awareness Educator to offer transformative workshops that support women and menstruators in reclaiming an understanding of (and connection to) their cycle, so they can avoid pregnancy naturally in the most reliable ways, conceive easefully when they want to, and move through all the different chapters of life and womanhood from puberty to perimenopause with love for their changing bodies.

Mothers for Maidens: How to Positively Guide (Pre)Teens Through Puberty

Hands up if you never got the empowering holistic reproductive health education you needed growing up…but you want to change that for the next generation. Yet, how can you pass on wisdom that you never received yourself (for example, irregular cycles are normal and ok during puberty). Or maybe when you try to bring periods up like the cool mom / aunty figure you are…they squirm away faster than you can say “wanna see my menstrual cup?”

This dynamic, interactive & game-based workshop demystifies the menstrual cycle to support you in supporting the (pre)teens in your life to go through puberty with greater confidence, self-understanding and body-appreciation.

You'll learn age-appropriate ways to teach them about their changing bodies, as well as simple conversation cues, mindset shifts, parent & (pre)teen rituals and self-care practices that will open the dialogue for them that you know you so greatly needed when you were their age.
