Chloe Skerlak

I am deeply passionate about body literacy and empowering individuals to understand and embrace the wisdom of their menstrual cycles. My journey has led me to teach fertility awareness and cyclical living, sharing the belief that our bodies are incredible messengers. I see the menstrual cycle as more than biology—it’s a vital sign, a guide, and a source of power.

Fertility awareness is an incredible tool that goes far beyond understanding when to expect your next period. By learning to chart the signs of your cycle—like basal body temperature, cervical mucus, and cervical position—you can use this knowledge as hormone-free contraception or to optimize your chances of conception. Since the menstrual cycle is our fifth vital sign, it’s also a powerful indicator of overall health. Issues like irregular cycles, lack of ovulation, or unusual patterns can point to underlying health conditions that need attention.

My gift lies in making these concepts accessible and joyful, whether I’m teaching someone to chart their cycle, guiding preteens and parents in my Period Positivity Workshops, offering empowering workshops on topics like perimenopause, or leading Cervix Portrait Parties to help individuals deepen their body literacy by photographing their own cervix and connecting with their reproductive health.

The wisdom I hold is simple but profound: ovulation builds health, cycle signs are messengers, and living in harmony with our cyclical nature unlocks gifts in every phase of life. Every woman, everywhere, deserves to know how her body works and to feel supported in her reproductive journey, from the first period to perimenopause and beyond.

Body literacy is a lifelong tool for health, empowerment, and connection, and it’s my mission to ensure no one feels left in the dark about their own body.
