Hailed as an old soul trapped in a young, classically trained body, and likened to the musings of Lana Del Rey and Colter Wall, Brooke Taylor has been dazzling crowds with her enchanting songwriting and bewitching vocals since before she could hold a microphone. Raised in Alberta, Canada, she takes her inspiration from the prairies she grew up in and the sounds of Nashville Tennessee, where she now lives. Her sound captures the traditional notes of western folk while staying true to the darker, sensual americana tone that inspired her image. Miss Taylor’s songwriting unapologetically touches on the themes of The American dream, adolescence, love, and is deeply steeped in undertones of her spirituality. Raised by a powerful healer, alchemist, and channel for a mother, Brooke grew up in ceremony, surrounded by incredible women who shaped her childhood. With roots in Ayurveda, holistic health and yogic philosophy, she stays true to who she is whilst navigating the intense music industry. A true poet and wordsmith, every piece of music Brooke creates is deeply personal and is made to touch the soul’s of those who listen.
