Hope Corbin

I have been dancing ever since I can remember. Dance is what makes me feel most alive and like myself.

I am a practitioner of the 5 Rhythms™, certified Kundalini Dance™ Facilitator, Bellyfit™ Instructor, certified Yoga Trance Dance instructor and 200hr Yoga instructor.

In 2012 I created my own Ecstatic Dance Facilitator Training. In 2019 I renamed it the Dance as Medicine Training.

I am the mother of a very energetic toddler, devoted wife, loving friend, gardener, ceremonial priestess, and conscious dance DJ.

EKSTASIS Dance Workshop: Embodying Your Full Potential

Conscious Dance is unchoreographed, intentional, free flow, creative, mindful movement for the purposes of authentic self-expression, self-discovery, interpersonal connectedness, and personal healing or growth.



In a recent UCLA study, Conscious Dancers that had one of 5 major stress-related health conditions (depression and anxiety, trauma, history of drug abuse, chronic pain) reported therapeutic benefits (i.e., that conscious dance “helped them cope” with the condition.) A strong majority of participants endorsed experiences consistent with mindfulness (i.e., feeling “more present in my body”) and psychological flow (“I felt like I was ‘in the zone’ or ‘in the flow’ of things”.)1



It supports dancers to release stress, release and integrate repressed emotions, heal the past, creatively express themselves, quiet the mind, and connect with inner wisdom.
